Well, here it is, my first tumblr post. Jess and Nikki, I hope you’re proud of me!

Here I sit, outside on my apartment complex lawn drinking my McCafe Iced Caramel Mocha. Riveting, I know. I don’t know why, but this is one of my favorite things to do. Watching cars, clouds, and pretty much the grass grow, too, is simply refreshing. As I opened my computer and iTunes I was drawn to “Dear, Prudence,” (Across the Universe version. Sorry Beatles junkies!) It couldn’t be more fitting: “The sun is up, the sky is blue.” Ugh, I can’t express how happy this combination makes me.

I really never thought I’d have a tumbler account, either. As much as I give my parents shit for not being “tech savvy,” I’m the same way with things like “DROID” phones, twitter, and yes, tumblr. I’m still getting my feet wet, but I think it’ll be a good place to share thoughts, inspirations, and who knows what else.
